Wild Sunflowers Collection
This collection of mixed media paintings on paper was inspired by the beauty of the ordinary. Late summer and early fall in the California countryside is a landscape filled with wild sunflowers. They seem to be on every roadside and dotting every field with their golden glory. Because they are so common they often go unnoticed and uncelebrated. This collection is my meditation on their unique beauty as harbingers of the autumn ahead.
